We understand things don't always work out as planned.
Rather than withholding information and exploding in a fit of emotional angst, we prefer to transparently dismantle, communicate and account for the what, why, how, when and where in an open, honest, neutral and unbiased way, so we may learn from experience and grow, develop and strengthen ourselves and others as individuals.
Red & Black Music was set up in 2012 to stop musicians cancelling. Conforming to our striving for information transparency, Read & Blog is an open source of KLU (Knowledge, Learning and Understanding). It reports breaches of agreements and unscrupulous traders, communicates problems to be aware of, documents incidents, resolutions and future implications and explores and analyses ongoing issues/topics in music management and production. Full names, addresses and contact details of private individuals are omitted for the purposes of GDPR.
Several changes coming to Diáspora this summer.
Firstly, we are pleased to announce that the band is going under the management of DIASPORA COLLECTIVE, a brand new ‘umbrella’ company that will manage and promote the band DIÁSPORA and other projects.
Secondly, we will soon be offering a London band to reduce costs for bookings in southern areas of the UK.
Thirdly, due to the imminent demise of iWeb / MobileMe :-( our old website is due to expire and a new website for both DIÁSPORA (band) and DIASPORA COLLECTIVE (management) will be launched. However, this site will remain at the same address www.diasporamusic.co.uk There may be periods when the site is down for maintenance (around end of September / beginning of October). If you require any information/material during this time then please email us!
DIASPORA COLLECTIVE will be launched at its new home www.diasporacollective.co.uk in the early autumn.
Please note our new email address for bookings: firstname.lastname@example.org
