Santo Mío is a song about being watched, venerated and protected by a saint. It shifts through various grooves - Mozambique, Funk, Afro 6/8, Salsa and Charanga - and both claves 2:3 and then into 3:2.

The Coro (vocal refrain) sings "Dime Ocha, Dame Aché. Santo Mío, Traime Iré" which basically means, "Speak to me Lord, give me life force. Saint of mine, bring me blessings".

Like A Bird is a song about a someone who is reincarnated as a bird. He playfully invite his soul mate to follow him into a lush canopy and experience the joys, blessings and liberties of avian life up in treetops looking down on creation. He suggests that they migrate, without need to hibernate and to mate within their nest atop the trees. He's not just a bird that’s there to be preyed upon. His liturgy is a celebration of Mother Nature’s offerings. He is compatible with his match, who knows how to ruffle his feathers in all different weathers, but he pleads with her to relinquish him from her natural selection so that they can live together liberated and free.
