Alejandro raises a valid point about musicians not studying repertoire for the engagement. He rightly points out that the musicians must listen to the tracks beforehand and have a rehearsal if they don't know the tunes. Otherwise, it is like not doing their homework. They are not playing alone, so that must be made clear to them. The producer is pretty flexible with the repertoire, he gives them a choice of over 50 songs for them to choose 20, and he is even open to learn some new ones that they want to suggest, but they must be confident with the set chosen.
