Rory Duffy is a London-based saxophonist, pianist & music producer with a background in jazz and improvised music.

Raised in Stroud, south west England, Rory was brought up on a diet of Celtic folk, musical theatre and jazz. He wrote his first songs aged seven, took up the piano aged nine, alto saxophone aged eleven, clarinet aged sixteen, tenor & soprano saxophone aged sixteen and flute aged eighteen.

​Rory has worked in a variety of fields ranging from big bands and contemporary music groups to DJ's, jazz and world music ensembles, party bands and musical theatre productions to promotional and media work, studio sessions and saxophonic / symphonic wind orchestras and quartets.

We work for you by negotiating with all major employers in the industry, as well as offering services, benefits and advice tailored to your needs at every stage of your career.
Note: we, acting as "Red & Black Music" don't entirely endorse their unrealistic​, "one-size-fits-all" regulation of musicians' fees and the stifling restrictions that these place on the engager: we prefer the incremented approach. However, we do advocate the Musicians' Union as a useful resource in their capacity to support musicians especially when it comes to addressing client issues/topics (e.g., negotiating contracts). Although we fully advocate and recommend the support that this group provides to musicians: we are also hardened realists who believe that free markets and individual responsibility/achievement are the primary factors behind a successful music business.

Having worked successfully internationally they decided to come home and offer some of our great products here in the UK. At the heart of their business is a fantastic 5 piece band, called The Tigers. Playing classic hits and chart topping dance floor fillers they are a fun and outstanding party band rapidly becoming a phenomena in the UK. Their performance can be expanded to a full 12 piece band or to a show setting by adding some of their performance products such as acrobatic dancers, or fire performers. They even provide a Be A Rockstar service where their professional musicians will work with you to perform with the band on stage. Their in house service team have over 30 years in the events and entertainment industry and will work with you to ensure that your event is spectacular.
