A small child’s imagination is easily captivated, and for Tom it was the sonorous colours of the brass on the many CDs that his parents used to play that got him excited every time. With an ancestry of brass-banders it was in the blood, and seeing bands playing around Frampton Cotterell was what made him say, “when I grow up, I want to play the trumpet."

Diáspora12-piece band on 30th October, we're delighted to confirm lead vocalist Rea Qunta.
Rea's vocal style branches everything from jazz, progressive rock, funk and romantic to Celtic folk, Latin, pop and minimalism. Rea won an international songwriting competition in 2005 and last year released a solo album "8 Hours" to great acclaim. "I really believe that music can make the world go round, and that special song or piece has the power to inspire, communicate and translate what otherwise cannot be said in simple words. I feel we have a responsiblity as artists to keep filling the world with light, hope and encourage others to keep creating a better world."
